"I wrote this film to exercise some feelings I have about my own relationship with my older sister. We don't get a long much, but our pattern is clear; when one of us has it hard in life, the other seems to be doing better. At least in our eyes, the grass is always greener.

I also wanted to reflect on the relationship between my mother and her sister. I found their relationship to be really interesting when I was young and they were always chatting over coffee. Occasionally there would be laughter coming from both of them in the kitchen, but the kitchen is where they rested.

With this short I wanted the audience to notice the entrapment, they feel so the pacing is slow and our characters reveal their feelings through their body language more than words."
