Richmond City Media put together their first official Filmmaker's Showcase at SI Makerspace on February 27th, 2016. Among the Staten Island filmmakers that attended was many of the local community. Lori Hiris, a college lab technician for the Media Culture department at the College of Staten Island, put together a clue event working alongside Richmond City Media. The events purpose, to inspire potential filmmakers.
