RCM's Staten Island Filmmaker's Showcase

Richmond City Media put together their first official Filmmaker's Showcase at SI Makerspace on February 27th, 2016. Among the Staten Island filmmakers that attended was many of the local community. The night focused on celebrating local artists by giving select directors and creatives a chance to showcase their best work. RCM screened some previous work, but put a majority of the nights focus on filmmaker's such as: Gena Mimoso, Dana Morgan, Don Arangio and Melissa Pellicano. Even Ultra Vulture Mega Death Dive made an appearance with their 1 minute shorts in between each artists films, adding comedic relief to the night. The event served as a premiere of Melissa's latest film, Coffee & Sisters.

Richmond City Media plans to continually showcase new artists work in future festivals and screenings. Keep an eye out for the next one!
